Peer support programs provide an opportunity for consumers who have achieved significant recovery to assist others in their recovery journeys. Peer specialists model recovery, teach skills and offer supports to help people experiencing mental health and/or substance abuse challenges lead meaningful lives in the community.
About The Gathering Place
We provide a place for individuals in mental health and substance abuse recovery to share their journey with like type individuals. While providing a safe environment for all. Our center provides in house services free to those seeking recovery. We are a drop in center meaning there is never a need for an appointment during normal business hours.

Tablets to Help the Residents of Assisted Living Facilities Connect with Friends and Family
Here at The Gathering Place we understand that it is very hard to stay in touch with loved ones while living at an assisted living facility. As a part of the community, we want to do our part in helping out by providing tablets to those facilities in need.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
We operate primarily from donations and grants. We are grateful for any and all donations. We are also always looking for volunteers to facilitate activities and educational groups.
