VETERANS AND ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY SUPPORT GROUP

Peer support groups are a place where you can discuss day-to-day problems with other people who have been through trauma. Support groups have not been shown to reduce PTSD symptoms, but they can help you feel better in other ways. Because they can give you a sense of connection to other people, a peer support group could be a great addition to your routine.   This meeting is held Tuesdays at 5:00 pm (central time)

MOVING FORWARD

Moving Forward in our recovery focuses on our successes in recovery, stumbling blocks that come up time to time in our lives, and our needs {what do we each need that the group can help us with}.  When a stumbling block comes up, our concept is that we don’t go backwards, we just step aside until we can re-group and continue “Moving Forward”.

This support group is held Tuesdays and is hosted by our Wisconsin Certified Peer Specialist Eric.  Support group meets Tuesdays at 1pm.

OUR JOURNEY

Our Journey in recovery focusses on each one of us overseeing our own recovery journeys.  We learn to advocate for ourselves and practice the skill of assertiveness. It is our responsibility to acquire the ability to lead our journey as we develop a team around us for resources, support, and encouragement, while teaching each one of us to stand up for ourselves in society.

Come join Eric and peers in a wonderful supportive environment.  This meeting is held Wednesdays at 1pm.
